Well the mojo is back , having found myself not wanting to create anything , I now find that I want to do lots of things again, hooray the mojo has returned. This card is created for
the challenge "Go for the Gold challenge #52" over on cropstop I enjoyed doing this card.
The cardstock is DCWV. Primer journal notelet,martha Stewart lace punch and the Flower
created with DCWV cardstock/expression . I love how the flower turned out and I made a few more trying different methods

Long time no blogging!!! Well life just got in the way for me

in a big way,hopefully I will get back to my blogging routine

I just wanted to wish all my friends worldwide a Happy New Year

and heres hoping that 2010 is better for all of us.

Its pretty cold right now lots of the fluffy white stuff on the ground

whilst I agree it looks nice from the window ,I loathe walking on it and

the ice ,roll on spring,but cannot help thinking we are in for a long winter

This is the Glimmer Nature Album from Tattered angels I had so much fun playing with so much colour, the Glimmer on this does not show up so well on these pictures ,but I really ,really had fun mixing all these colours
This is the front I still do not know what to put on the front ,Any suggestions!!?

These are all photo`s taken when I went to 2 different lavendar fields and I have

finally gotten around to doing something with them, loved the mellow yellow of this butterfly

not sure on this flowers at all in the lavendar fields but the colour drew me to it

love the tones of the 2 above,but have you ever tried taken a photo when they are on the lavendar fields ,ugh you need patience

love this butterfly just balancing on the lavendar here

two lots of trouble DS and Niece at the tallest behive they reckon in the world

yeah with real ones inside,we peeped but did not hang around to long I can tell you. Oh and I just love this Blue gate with all the different coloured rows of lavendar

think this has to be my very favourite butterfly on that beautful flower

Anyone thinking of asking the colours fire away but I will need to check so are new colours but I do know what I used

We ll I have been creating,honest I have just some things I never got to take picture of like teachers gift, I just made some boxes and made some personalized stationary for them effevtive but so easy.

Well summer has started [holidays] wow our kiddos have 7 weeks off this year

thats a heck of a long time to occupy my little terror I can tell you. He has already been busy in my craft area argh stamping on my desk and had glimmer mist out and oh heck I just know I will find something else he will have done in my area

This is my take on the July sketch of at stampartic you could only use

Brown and Blue in colours, The stamp is from Hampton Art-Jill meyer -Diffusion 4521 passport -Bazzill cardstock- prima flowers spraued with robins nest blue glimmer mist-copic markers - chestnut roan ink ,ribbon and gemstones from my stash [not sure of make]

I have never thought of using brown and Blue together and not sure if I will again lol!! anyway it was fun to work from a sketch..........

Oh I really did not realize how long it is from when I last blogged,now that is just terrible on my behalf,I just do not know were the time has gone,well I do some of it DS has taken lots of time up lately.
The card I did above is from a Whiff of Joy Stamp and coloured with copic markers,must say I love the brush end but not the bullet end of these marker tips

This was just one of those pictures I took last week in the hot weather and DS blowing bubbles and I just love this carefree look on his face,even though his arm is in pot still,bright red he picked. For those who do not know my DS fell at school and broke & fractured his elbow,this was so much fun [not]because his party was coming up within 2 weeks and mum had arranged a football party, anyway it did not deter him and it all went ahead as planned . We are back at the the hospital next week and fingers crossed it has mended,cannot be no fun for my little guy with this on in this heat....

This was some party boxes I made for the kids to take home with them full of

candy thought it was good to make cake shape and added football figures to the top with the exception of 3 and then I used prima flowers[yeah I hear yeah well 3 girls came ] so felt it was a bit more prettier for the girls . One of the kiddos made me laugh they said has TJ got 2 cakes!!

My niece came and with her just havin her 13th birthdayand everything is boring and life is boring to em at this age,well you could have fooled me!! sent her on pitch and her friend with the 5-6 year olds and did she have loads of fun!!!?............... she loved it

Well folks that is it for today ,and have plenty more to post when I get going

oh so I have been missing AWOL, well funny how time flies, My DS had a tooth take out at the dentist and then spent the night throwing up so i thought it must have been the stuff they used for pain relief anyway he got worse then day after I started the same,turns out it was gastric virus we had got and boy did it knock the wind outta my sails,took us both over a week to even feel like eating anything...... Well its back to school runs and school study at home. I started decorating the bedroom weeks ago and with been ill had no energy to even stay on the ladder long I have got bits to do but waiting on some wood been carved out then I can finish the cupboard,but whilst waiting thought I would set my new area up,boy I just did not realizejust how much stuff I have got and really need a massive purge and use stuff up I have got!!!....but well I know me so well I need new stuff,gotten a whole lot of new glimmer mist to,little did I know how one bottle has grown to 18 now ,love the stuff.

Do not know why but I find it more theraputic working upstairs than downstairs with crafting .But it does have a down side last night could not sleep when I got upstairs so ended up crafting,nothing major just sat making some hatpins,and then retired to bed...........

Spring Crop

Oh I have really been bad at blogging ,but I have also been so busy
doing things I needed to do ready for the Spring fling Crop over at
Krafty timez Crafts our crop is starting on the 4th April and will
run until 11th April. Everything is going to be loaded on the 4th and
everyone will have until the 11th to upload their work
We have some awesome challenges,sponsors and games going on
We will also have RAKS and Prizes on offer,So if you want to be part of the

oh I still have not got my black box[wi-fi router ]installed that is not me ,normally I have to get my stuff sorted straightaway,but I had just re-wired
everything and run cables around the hall and room when I had the brainwave to update my box,oh well might do it over the easter break when DS is off school
I have had lots of goodies in the post from over the pond what I had ordered so when I finishing playing around stroking them I might just get something done with them....... Oh don`t you just love it when packages arrive with new stash in!!

oh really What have I been up to ,well keep meaning to blog but something always comes up !!! Well I`m so ready for spring,just when I think it has arrived

This is my take on the sketch,you know me always the rebel ,I just had to turn it
it fitted what I had in mind,the image is a real cutie from Heartwarming vintage Girlfriends journal booklet,love this pad, ink was chestnut roan,bazzil cardstock and a piece of journal paper from mm spiral paperie mocha and my trusty Beacon Adhesive, prima Hydrangea`s,pin wheel and brad

Oh I can now reveal my DST Secret, I`m happy to say I will be happily designing for Miss Hippy Chick ,now sarah`s sketches are just wonderful

and there is a scrapbook and card DST, I have a card team place and so looking

forward to getting to know the other girls

Well yesterday was a beautiful spring Day my hopes built only to be dashed by the cold windy day today and back to coat zipped up to throat again,oh knew it

was to good to be true,but oh blow the weather, I have had lots of packages coming through the post,I needed some retail therapy

My big dark and handsome piece arrived today oh yes its my new paper rack very heavy and took some moving,but oh another 30 shelves to fill with paper,my 7 G revolving stand arrived for my ATC`s, my bits and pieces from the atc store arrived ,love this gal ,she is so fast with shipping. Now I will have to wait on other papers arriving like my new G45 papers and my stuff from the scrappy gourmet. Oh still waiting on my New prima stuff to arrive ,oh say it in pearls and other pieces

Well going to have a look on-line,but look only I have spent alot of $ and alot of £ so must be well behaved today [yeah right she says]

This is a little ATc that I have finally[I think] finished up ,I used a mixture of Tim Holtz alchol inks and some pearl rubbings to achieve What I wanted, the pearls I kiaser craft and the lace is from my stash, I used glossy accents for her eyes I wanted it to look like she was alive,and I must say it does this ,her lace dress I just highlighted with some diamond stickles

Well I feel pretty jaded today,been cutting some wood for DS railway and then we went to the model railway centre, did a little stop at store for some sewing things I needed and general chores like washing windows,really has not done my stiff neck any good ,this came on last night and I hope I goes again.

Cannot believe the school half term is over with and its back down the school run road on Monday,oh well think its only 6 weeks then it will be Easter,what !!

I do hope spring is around the corner,I love watching all the new beginnings of spring flowers,lambs etc

Well really I have been such a bad blogger,but I have been busy setting a forum up for my wonderful friends I have made worldwide at Krafty Timez Crafts,we all sort of got split by a store closure and I figured rather than try chase each other around different forums to set our own up,we are not store related so we can discuss anything,advertise anything and even invite store owners to let us have any discounts/shipping details they are having,I really would be happy for anyone worldwide to come join us over here,we are a very,very friendly group and well the girls talents are just amazing!...
This is a cigar box[I have a few] I altered,I wanted to keep the wood look so this got a really got coat of Glimmer mist in Coffee shop and I kept the attached label and rubbed Glimmer mist into it, the rest is just different papers and images from my stash and a few pieces got roughed up using my BG files to age it a little more,the lace got glimmer mist applied also, I like it,now to find a use for it lol!!............

This is the white stuff I have seen enough of this February to last a life time along with the very dangerous ice we have had to tread daily,this watering can I have had for ages,but I have my lavender heavily laden with snow,I altered it sort of!! I applied rub ons etc to this and it has stood out 2 years now and remains the same I was hoping it might start to rust etc seeing its galvinished but nope!!!...........

oh Sunday today and we are breadmaking and we are waiting for the first rise then more pummling and DS wants breadcakes so it probably will be loaf and cakes there is enough dough, Oh I just love the smell of fresh yeast,the quick packet stuff just does not do it for me at all,mind you I do like eating fresh yeast from the paper,takes me back to my childhood when I used to go to bakers for mum and we had to get 20z instead of one because I had eaten half of it by the time I had got home...........

Well I will go check on the bread and see what is what

oh this was layout I created for call over at Creatively yours and I loved doing this layout,so much fun and I have not done a layout for quite some time

I have been so busy altering things or making cards, This is a photo of my grandparents wedding Day in 1927 [Double click for a close-up]

The big flower is just from some of them cheap ones from the shop we all stick in vases but I took it to pieces {I always buy white] and it all had a good spray with Glimmer mist- coffee shop,vintage music and papers from my stash, lace/key/hatpin from my stash, plenty of tim holtz distress inks- old paper/vintage photo,]/black soot,buttons my own stash, trying to think of all bits and pieces I used on this lol!

Well it is pretty cold here and we are expecting a bit more than a bucket of snow to fall anytime over next few days, Oh I so do not want this white stuff, not bad if I`m stayiing in but I need to go out tomorrow and do not like the school run with my little guy if its slippy at all, the other week I`m surpirsed nobody broke there necks on the ice I know I had a fast racing heart after my near miss

Oh I`m loving this new stuff from Fancy pants sneek peek from CHA winter 09

Love the Summer soiree range of papers at the top,but so in love with this mixed media book fantastic idea made up from felt and chipboard and transparent sheets blank & printed even get the binder rings in the pack

oh just imagine what you could do with this,the possibilites are endless here!! I`m also loving the basic Kraft papers releasing and oh the shadow box type unit ,oh can you tell I might be spending alot of money!!!!

I`m also in love so much with alot of the Prima stuff been released wow if you think they could bring nothing elese out think again! so much been released and well I will show some tomorrow some really ,really amazing flowers talk about excelling themselves

Well I`m just so going to love this new collection from Graphic 45 to be released at the winter 09 CHA ,oh next week it is and well what can you say heres a sneek peak top one is fashonista and the 2nd one is communique , I so need these arent they delicous,you know you need to buy more than one because I know I`m so not going to want to cut into these lol!! I`m still havin trouble letting go of the summer release stuff and this is excellant quality paper,very much fancy pants & Basic Grey quality

Well I have just been sat sketching ,so not up to doing much at all,my tooth pain is not easing,meds not help or taking pain away,so after suffering all week I`m pretty darn sure this is neuralgia,why you ask well antibotics and pain relief is NOT working at all,the pain is so severe and all down one side of my face. Pretty sure it is not my sinuses .I could happily hack my head off just to get some relief

I`m sorry but this is short and hope to get back to normal next week

Well first, I`m wishing all my friends and family all around the globe a Very Happy New Year and lets hope its a good one!

I do not know about you but I`m happy to see the last of 2008,it seems to have been a bad year for alot of my friends,been taken ill. Thinking of Glee especially whom I`m happy to say will soon be home if everything goes to plan and knowing Glee it will...........

To Liv , special hugs and prayers for you dear friend............

especially Beverley Todd`s family my heart goes out to you at this sad and tragic Time in your lives,Beverley will be know by lots of you who visit different boards ,very talented scrapper and card maker and Design team member who was taken ill on the 23rd of December with a Brain bleed and passed away on the 24Th December,she had just turned 40 this year and leaves a family youngest been only 4.She will be sadly missed..............

To the families whom have loved ones in the forces who are away,let hope they are home real soon,for those whom have been injured/killed in action " they are all our hero`s",

So I will just be having a nice Day with Dinner and a little bit of time for reflection on the year just gone,and hoping this New One whilst I know it will not be good with the economy been like it is,maybe its a good thing and bring families closer together and back to the good old days of home cooking and the baking days which we had when I was a kid all them years ago ,oh we had so much fun and the silly games we played. So long as you have a roof over your head and the rent/mortgage etc are paid,that's all that matter`s, and you have each other

oh yes what a great surprise to recieve this blogger award from a very dear blog friend Liv.

Wasn't this ever so nice of her? She's such a darling lady and through all this year she has had a really rough time with her DD been so ill,someday`s I do not know how she copes with it all ,but she does which reminds me of " it takes a special person to be a mother" and Liv is one special person indeed

Now, I must list 6 things that make me happy and six bloggers to make them happy!

1] watching my darling Son growing up,making me laugh at the silly little things he says and does .

2] to be up to my eyeballs in wonderful scrap supplies and especially lace and papers and vintage finds .

3] Just to be so thankful I`m on this earth and though I complain some days I have no reason to I have everything, all my limbs,my eyes and food on my plate everyday .

4] To have so many wonderful blog friends all around the world,all so very special to me.

5] ROFL!! for the internet, wow what would we do with out it.

6] To be thankful to Mum & Dad whom moulded me into the person I have become and brought me up so well, boy I miss my mum everyday but know she is watching over me and mine.

Well another christmas over,Hope you all had a wonderful time with family,we just had a quiet one,but plenty of mess and toys to find new homes for this is DS with one of his many toys, trash team and wow does this make a noise he loves it. We did not do to bad he woke at 8.20 am, all excited noticed the key at the side of his bed, running around yelling he`s been, he`s been ,and then peeping downstairs yelling again and then he disappeared opening things,so funny and pretty cool he was more in tune with it this year. I spent a good few hours putting things together for him I hate doing this you spend all that money on things only to find it takes a good few hours assembling everything

This is DS whom kindly pinched the wreath from around the yankee candle jar,but I caught him out in the process and camera was handy so could not resist taking this piccy of the little monkey in action,he had been dancing around the room going lalalala so I looked to see what he was doing and this was the answer.......

Well are you all full,over eaten, hit the sales !!?

The New year will soon be upon us and things will soon be returning to normal. well waht is normal LOL!!

Well this is Santa`s magic Key box I made last year to convince DS he could get in,and so glad I did because this year he his making me laugh so much he ties tinsel to the handle of the front door and if it has fallen off he says the Elves have been ROFL!!! see I have been busy telling him when he is rummaging in cupboards and found anything to shut the door quick because the elves are collecting things and if he is naughty Santa want be stopping here!! Well this key box sits out near the tree and it disappears on Christmas Eve sometime through the day to convince him Santa is stopping by and he needs to go to sleep early......................

wonder how many year`s I will get away with this .................

Well my Thomas pacconi glass ornaments never made it out to the tree this year,just do not think he is old enough to appreciate them or keep un hooking them from the tree.......shame I really wanted my stuff out this year but they mean to much to me to be broken ah well maybe next year

so this year I just had to settle for some I bought in slivers and pastels blues.....

Well I`m really still alive although missing, that dreaded virus came back and really got a good hold of me ,so much so that it laid me flat on my back in bed for a few days,I lost a few days with the fever and what ever else was going on, now on the mend but it has left me very tired and lathargic,so if you have any energy going spare send it my way. Oh I have so much to do,but suppose all the sicko`s will be out the way for christmas

This is a little project I was trying before I got sick, A tin,yes a tin opened from the wrong end to keep the ring pull action and then goodies been put in it and it been glued from the underside. I used my safety can opener,if you dont have one,maybe a neighbour has one you can borrow!! if you are stuck a good supplier like QVC UK, USA and germany has these. I did write the codes and prices down but have just mis-laid these so if you need them give me a shout.

I have not managed to put the label on this yet,because it would possibly lead to the person its heading out to.............

Well I think these next few weeks are going to fly by and really need to get motivated with what I need to do and then there is the dreaded shopping oh I hate grocery shopping............

the holly and the stickles

this is one of the little projects I wanted started and finished I used the cricut christmas cheer cartridge and cut two different sizes of holly and berries and then creased the holly . Then decided to add stickles to random edges of the leaves,this was done when I should have been asleep so these layed at my bedside overnight to dry. Then I just threw everything in a box and leaves were layered up at random on to the circle I had covered,starting from the outer edge working in, I used silicone glue to give it a 3D dimension,but you could achieve this using different sizes of foam pads or depth of glue. Then the berries got a covering of candy cane red stickles and again these were just applied at random and the ribbon finished it off

TIP: punch your hole for hanging before you start layering up I did it with the cropadile and used an eylet and ran the chiffon ribbon through for hanging so much easier than doing it afterwards!!!

I`m still wondering if to give this a coat of modge podge or other sealer..... Well I have finished another little thing I was giving a test run

and must say it worked so simple and fast that I just went with the flow and happy how this one turned out also, will show later and well thats 2 down and how many to go!! trouble is the faster I clear the more I think to try....... I have not been to good last few days some Virus going about decided to hit me,but today I feel a little better

Well we are promised some of the white stuff this weekend and when I was out tonight with my DS ,we saw some of the white stuff they promised, it is so chilly and tomorrow I have no plans at going out at all

to wish Glee a very good friend a fast and speedy recovery, Glee thought she had flu and it has turned out to be pneumonia and a few complications is currently in the ICU unit on a respirator though Glee been a born fighter will pull through this I just want to pray for Glee and the darling husband and family ,wow Glee has a heart of Gold,so my blog friends please take time to visit Glee`s blog here and leave her good wishes

This is my take on Di Hickman`s sketch Nov ~#1 I loved trying this

you can find it here I loved this high quality double sided paper from Graphic 45,some lace from my stash ,corsage pin and pearl brad with prima flower behind it,the rub on is one I had not sure of manufacturer of it sorry!!

Well after running around like a headless chicken yesterday I so needed to make something,honest I never stopped yesterday and then had school meeting to go to,I feel sort of icky today but think it might have been the Big LACK of coffeee I crave daily lol!! honest I could not survive without my coffee.......................................

I have now gotten things/ideas wazzed around,but still find my self laying awake at night to fill the inner void with something else,I think I might have to write them down or do a sketch. I did finish the big piece of work and done a few smaller ones, but off to go try another idea I have will it work!!?........... don`t ask me I`m going to give it a go though I`m in recycling mode lol...........

Pumpkin Patch

DS and his cousin on the trailer we travelled on to the pumkins patch,which they thought was great we sat on bails of straw and this had us in fits of laughter,a lady on the trailer ,did not like all the divets we kept going down and at one point the trailer skids ,well she kept letting out all these screams and noise`s all the kids faces ,well just a picture wondering what this lady was yelling out out....

Me and DS sat on straw bails working out what they wanted to do next,it was such a freezing cold day...........

The witch came out of her house, and stood near us well talk about roar with laughter my DS and niece were off like a shot.............

Look at all the different shapes,sizes and colors of these gourds,pretty amazing!.......

Well silly me! I loaded these to publish later and forgot lol!! These are pictures from our trip to the muddy pumpkin patch, My Ds has not been well so my minds all over ,last night was our celebrations for Guy fawkes night with bonfires and fireworks,but it was pretty quiet with it falling mid week,so our`s will be on saturday Night.

I have so much in my head ,things I need to post especially RAKS and things in my head on projects and items I need completing soon rather than later. The idea`s are filling this brain up and need to try experimenting with them before I get burnout KNIM!!?

Well Alot of my friends will be out at the USA elections making the Vote for new president,Iam looking forward to watching it in the wee small hours,this one has got to be the longest in history ,and I have watched it from the start.

I have made a card,lol! wow! well a few really but this one is for Taylors expressions cupcake challenge#40 I love the sketches and have been meaning to do one for ages,but life just got in the way or projects,anyway i loved this sketch so I had to do it and used my prismacolour pencils and blended it in and out,love this stamp he is so cute

well my little Guy is poorly has cold real bad,so he did not get to start back to school this week. My physo said it will take 6-8months for my finger to heal and she said it might never go back to be the same ugh !

and to work it for 15 minutes at a time,and me well I have over done it

Oh I can now share the layout I had published in the scrapbook news & reviews seeing my agreement has cleared the dates, this was my first ever published pieces and I was jumping with joy when I got the e-mail,but when I looked again I thought someone was pulling my leg then I got the contract through to sign so I then knew it was cosha!
this was just plain white card and hand cut scalloping and a technique tuesday stamp used for the flowers the dots were all done using stickles and it took time,abit of faux stitching and my DS in special care unit

Wow this week is travelling fast,so far pumpkin patch has been [post piccies later] we had such a laugh and tears of laughter rolling down my face a somethings,DS and my niece enjoyed it, we had tractor trailer ride to the muddy patch I should have wore my wellies instead of good leather kid boots .
Well going to do something and post later and will try to keep up to speed after the school half term is so hard,blogging,forms.creating ugh technology has alot to answer for...............

Oh well what a beautiful weekend we have had sunny and today more sun pretty good for october. Well not done to much made this card with a new stamp I recieved love this image and kept it pretty plain using brown/black ink ,bit of lace from the stash and a bit of vintage music for the embellishment.
Well today done the school bit,rushing off to a meeting soon, and looking pretty good this week one appointment for tomorrow and might get something done Pretty glad about it because the last few weeks I have just been running around like an headless chicken
Next week will come quick and then its a week off , half term and going to take the little man to one of the pumpkin patches oh then it will be carving time with him. I cannot stand the smell of pumpkin it makes me go green lol!!! oh well its fun for the little guy..........

Yes you are not seeing double at all I did this and when I photographed it something was missing,yes ribbon it had been in my head to do but I forgot so , I think you will agree it looks nicer with a bit of ribbon.
Well hallowen projects are everywhere on the internet,block land .
Well its not really a to bigger deal over here,but it has started beginning to be more popular past few years. I never get any at my door because nobody likes walking down to the end of my house its is dark and trees and spooky I call it "Black hole of calcutta" even my family the big uns ring to say they are going to call so I can keep a look out,so only the brave venture down this far lol!!!! My DS is only 5 so do not think he has clicked onto the trick or treat yet he probably will when Iam on a zimmer frame rofl!!
well hope you are all creating, I have not done to much but playing and experimenting with a few ideas

Well another card made using the Fab Journalling pad from crafty secrets Heartwarming vintage
I love these pads and it is so hard to cut them,well I dont want to part with them ROFL!! well i keep telling myself ,,you can buy another pad,so now convinced myself its just fine to cut them!!!!!
Supplies:sewing machine:image; craft secrets:lace and ribbon from my stash; papers : Anna Griffin
This patterned paper is so not me but after abit of angling and sewing it has grown on me and pleased how it turned out........
Well figuring I might take covers off my suite and wash them I go ahead and do it everything is fine get all dried and back on except the back cushions,well after ages trying to get one back I just gave in or more so caved in, so after retiring to bed it was not a crafty idea that came to me ,it was how on earth I`m I going to get these things back on..... well after laying awake thinking with an idea I put into practice my thoughts,so armed with a big plastic bin liner thought um here goes supplies needs: one vacumn with hose,one kid to turn on and off the machine and one plastic bag. so in cushion goes making a note of where the sticking out bit is so I get it the correct way when it goes in, right after sticking cushion in bag twist the hose around the bag and then keep a tight hold of this twist ,kid turn vac on ,suck the air out and compression the filler ,right off with vac and rush to get this in the cover and gets half in and i can here sssssssh rushing to get has much as I could in wow the air is coming out quick,well what a relief now to get the bag out I made sure my twisted part went to the top so now it was a case of get the bag out ,easy peasy with a little here and there,then the 2nd one who its getting easier....... well I managed it all hooray..... But what I do wonder is HOW do they get them in at the manufacturers anyone know !!?....... So my brainwave worked
Well going to go and do a card or something crafty after a coffee, and my hand is doing alot better,its bending but is so very sore & inflammed see specialist in a week again so maybe I will find out if ulta sounds is a go or no go again,wish it would just go overnight....

Well this is a christmas card based on the sketch by Di Hickman and must say I really enjoyed working these colors/colours the darling image is from the new Christmas Images & journal pad from craft secrets
The papers are bazzill bling ivory and Anna Griffin patterned paper,rubber stamps are technique Tuesday and some velvet ribbon from the my stash and color box ink. Don`t you just love it getting in the mood to make christmas Cards,well I will keep it up now because last year I was caught out and had 50 to make the night before christmas eve never again I was so christmas card burnt out and could not have managed to make anymore..................... nor wanting to see one lol!!!

This is a little folding booklet I made for a friend and pretty happy how it turned out ,graphics courtesy of eileen at seneca pond crafts wonderful images and so easy to make and I thought the black ribbon made it more dramatic and a little bit of stickles here and there. the tags match beautifully .....back & front.

Oh which reminds me Eileen I do hope your surgery is a sucess and you recover quickly......

This is a charity shop frame find which I gutted & stripped out I had plans for this frame,yes it was for the birthday card Vicki R made me January gone. I just love this card and had to frame it for my bedroom

Well the frame once gutted, I have a big pile of vintage music books and I choose this,but at times thought oh maybe I should have picked another its great but so delicate think if you blow at it ,the stuff would tear once all this was on at random,inked edges for bit of depth,then crazy me modge podges the stuff and I can tell you panic set in I could see it bubbling before my eyes horror!! arghhh!! I had glued it well down so was puzzled anyway it all settled down in the end..

Then I added some vintage lace to the outside of the frame. made a aperture for the card with bazzill bling and backed with a brown bazzill and used some big D/D tabs to give the depth for the layering and apperture.once happy I then added some prima flowers layered up with some vintage brads and a wooden die shape[kaiser crafts] inked with tim holtz tattered straw, I have done this for the challenge 4 over at cropstop

I dont know yet but might add a dangley bit to it not sure yet

anyay it just feels so good to have done something.........................

Well my finger is not right so until I see specialist I just do not know,but at least I can manage so long as I lay off the heavy lifting or use of it,even doing this frame was hard.work

Well I was at the hospital and so pleased the removed the splint,oh and talk about my hand been swollen,I had not noticed at all!! I was told to go careful and guess what I did went shopping! and yes carrier bag heavy took my hand down with the weight and oh grief!!!! the pain I was in tears
my Son said take a painkiller,oh if only they worked! well back at the specialist in 2 weeks,to be honest I dont think they know what I have done
But I can tell you I wont be flicking any midge like flies again!
On a good note I have managed a card today,bits were eay but then when it came to brads etc grrrrr the time it took me compared to normally. I also started a little something off, but itching to start something big but I just cannot handle much weight at all..

#well I cannot believe how the months are rattling by,harvest is well on the way they are working in the dark with them lights they use getting rest of harvest done when I see this I automatically think october-hallowen
I would say the last few days been pretty pleasant but today ouch nip in the arm and my feet are cold so it looks like birkenstocks will be getting demoted and time for my winter sloppy ankle furry boots to pld around the house in!! oh and did put the fire on for a few hours,but held back on the central heating,even though I know some have put it on!
Well Iam still waiting for specialist and other things for the hand,its so painful and just wish I could stretch that thumb and index and little finger just so they were longer than the middle its so darn frustrating just not been able to manage things,but Iam such an impatient monster I feel like Iam been held back from doing stuff,always on the go thats me and having to rely on the other half to peel veg etc,well just dont go there!! today I said if you can just do the carrots,tatties,onion etc peel and wash I maybe could manage the rest by one hand and if not my machine could
sat here still waiting 6 hours after asking..............I was thinking should I ask him to help cut some card down I want and help me but ohhhh men!!

Oh well what happens when I`am feeling creative,I go and flick a fly off the end of my finger the size of a midge dead which freeked my DS out when he was havin a bath,yes I repeat flick it and then I`am in total pain cannot bend my finger and kept trying,well the pain was getting bad and my threshold is high... then half hour later I feel quite sick with the pain so off to A&E something is wrong so 3 hours later after lots of prodding and poking and pain relief I have my finger in a metal splint!! wonderful this is to stop me bending it,well it has done that alright ,more scared someone sues me if I poke them with this thing on my middle finger!!! awaiting now to see some specialist at the hospital they think I have torn the fibres to the ligaments or ruptered the ligament I think I`am more shocked a simple manover can cause such an injury much to the A&E amusement when explained how it happened
So now I have one hand to function and a thumb and little finger everyday mundane tasks are proving so difficult so crafting/scrapping is going to be very,very difficult I need to make a card but wondering how I can manage it .............. oh bother.........
On a good note my niece gave birth to a beautiful healthy girl[amelia-fay] and boy has she got a set of lungs already, just so pleased both healthy and safe............
I`am going now one finger tapping on keyboard is not for me.............

little coaster

This was a challenge to create a mini coaster album.yeah me no coaster`s did not fancy a trip to the pub to borrow some beer mats lol!!but have plenty of chip ,grief I cut all by hand 4" x 4" then my corner rounder would not take the chip so armed with my BG file set set about rounding the corners phew glad when it was over and I could get to work with my papers I just had to choose my Jenni Bowlin papers,just simply adore this range . I used quite a few products on this, Crafty Secrets Heart warming acrylic Stamps,Tim holtz inks,glimmer mist,Bazzil papers and some ribbons/lace from the never ending stash and good old rough hand journalling [not my best] but I like how it turned out with all family thrown in here and there. It hangs on my hanger at the moment,but I might give it to my Aunt..........

Well Iam feeling pretty good I have just managed yiphee ........ to track some of the new CS heartwaming Vintage Journal Booklets down,christmas,girlfriends and paper dolls cannot wait for these to arrive

after seeing what Vicki C has been creating with these!!! pop over to her Blog and look! Iam just havin so much trouble getting my brain in any sort of working order,what have I got! scrappers block! surrounded by so much paper and bits and pieces I ask myself how is it possible!

Well I seem to be having on of those Days wanting to do something ,but neither finding the mojo or energy to do anything,I did have a fairly rough night and DS has been a little terror today bouncing off the walls
Mind you been stuck in for most part of the day has not helped with this wet weather,anyway I think rain or not tomorrow Iam going to a little market Town for a wander its only about 20 minutes drive from home so if we get to wet Its not far to travel home at all
Well I do have a few things on the go BUT... just cannot get anything flowing to finish them up lol!!
I have got all my contracts signed and sent to SNR for the 6 pieces of work they accepted for publishing 2 layout and 4 altered items,ohh which reminds me I have to remove some work from my Blog and Gallery at KT crafts geez I better move on this quick........... back later hopefully with Mojo in full swing......

This is my great niece ,just adore the photo of her,the paper is rouge de garange
MME transparency and Heidi Swapp bling and Lil Davis Flower This is my Niece and Great Niece together,the paper I used are k& Co and love this picture of them together. Iam a little worried over my niece at the moment she is havin a rough time due to give birth to her 2nd in 6 weeks but liver & kidney problems have set it,she has been told to have her bags packed ready The Docs want to try hold off for another 2 weeks,but it is looking very much like her body cannot take anymore,just praying all works out fine
One of my other nieces on our trip out to the lavendar fields and we hit the beech afterwards she did not know I had taken this picture due to using my 18 zoom lense,why she was carry to great boulders back I never did ask her!!
of course my DS when we went to YORKSHIRE lavendar on the blue bridge
DS again at yorkshire lavendar at the cricket match these things are massive and made from metal he seemed to enjoy taking the mick on this and a few others
Well I really have alot in the pipe line and in this old Head ideas wazzing around and just need some time and energy and effort to make a start or to complete what has started I just cannot believe just were this week has gone,really it will soon be back to school at this rate,its hot and sticky and good do with a good down pour to clear this humid air!!

This is my Son with cousin Racheal they went and ventured a little closer I used my zoom lense LOL!!

Well The sign to the left of the hive has a WARNING! saying our bees our busy at work and they dont mind you watching,so long as you dont annoy them by tapping the glass or they WILL REMEMBER YOU ,oh yeah that said enough we did not stop long around here. But with that been said they were working hard in the fields ,hundreds of them so it was a eco place to visit

just some of the lavender rows we walked around due to the high heat and bees and then we paid a visit to the shop and had a lavender scone, then we travelled onwards and headed for the coast and beech,just a few photos on the beach I was A little bothered about getting sand near my camera & lense so played safe with a few and put it away

This is the distillery its the only wood fired distillery in Britian the wood fire can be seen to the left and the Lavendar is put into the wood Vat in the middle the purple almost radiator tank to the right is were the lavendar oil goes from the steam vat and the oil distilled
The process involves passing steam through the harvested lavender in a still. The vapours then pass through a condenser with the liquid being collected. The oil floats on top of the water and is decanted off. It is then kept for six months before it is ready to be used.here are two large tanks that run the full length of the building. One used to draw air through the lavender to dry it. The other tank is piped to the two ponds. The water is circulated and used for through the condensor in the distilation process of the lavender.
This has to be one of my favourite photo`s of the Day my Son in awe of the fluttering and oblivious to the bees in the lavendar!

Talking of bees this farm has hives and has the Largest beehive in the world I will show you pictures later,umh now you did not get me in it! Paul was the only brave one to enter I did have a peep and what I saw made me back off big time oh hundreds of them behind glass,but I was not brave enough to venture any closer,nor my SOn or Niece,when i show you picture you will understnad why!
oh and since doing this post We have also been to Yorkshire Lavendar in the howardian hill so will post pictures + the BIG ,massive beehive later

A view of the wedding cake card out of its box
This is just to show the mini flowers on the top tier
The card in its box 3 sides acetate so it can be viewed at 3 angles and the back plain so the verse was put here
A view showing the finished lid had to extract the corner pieces from one large piece and the " on your wedding Day" is on plain white vellum

This Card project was something I have been working on for a few days each tier is a box so it can be opened on each tier and pieces put in it or really can just be left empty I think the hardest part of this was hanging on to the mini flowers with my tweezers and silicone glue cannot remember how many shot across the room I say mini think I should say minature. The box I was going to do four sides with acetate and changed my mind on thinking um were will the verse go,so decided 3 clear viewing windows and one plain piece for the back ideal for the verse
Lace anyone who knows me,knows just how much I have,but could I find a white ideal for the job NO!! so off I go to my store found 2 which fitted the bill so bought what was left on each bolt,With doing vintage stuff so much I had perfect lace in creams,So I came home with a bit more stash for the lace pile
Iam pretty happy I have completed this and met my deadline for it,It is for a friend getting married,so we will be taking it up to her shortly
My it has been another hot day to nice to sit in,but sit in I have,tomorrow
Its supposed to be a really,really hot and humid Day and I really want to take DS and my niece to the lavendar Fields,but could well be a visit to the coast really undecided at the moment

This card was a plain black cardstock and autumn leaves patterend paper, I love lime with Black,well this was a prima new die cut cardstock voila strip andI have some flock stuff and I open it and never use it,the urgh texture i do not like on my fingers I was scrating my nose for ages after using it,it gets everywhere but back to the strip I peeled the self adhesive piece of and thought umh sticky!! so I applied the flock to this and was pretty pleased with the how it stuck I then used my own adhesive[beacon] to stick to the card

this was a male card challenge from jorunn I used some old HOTP papers and corrugated some cardstock ,screwed some up and applied tim Holtz inks The centre image was Crafty secret and the distressed/sanding labels 7 gypsies I liked how it turned out with all the layers and textured and so apt for a man....
OH and I have a little TOOT okay it only a E-zine ,but it first time I ever submitted and been accepted so I was pretty happy, I had to remove my item from the KT gallery due to the contract I had to sign for publishing with SNR

This is a challenge at Kt craft to make a gate fold anniversary card,I love gate fold well I love anything cardmaking which it not the norm full stop
Here I have used autumn leaves patterend papers love this color scheme the dotty piece behind the Prima voila die cut strips I also used to line the inside with and saved a piece to line the inside of the envelope, the Prima strip Iam loving this stuff I inked it up and then place kaiser pearls on it[think they are called blush] a very pale duck egg blue,voila one anniversary card

This friendship card was a sketch challenge at kt crafts by Jan tatmir,great sketch to work for Jan`s work can also be found at SAR[some assembly required]
cut to shape and mounted on a pastel pink base,I used a breezy design rub on and then placed crytal`s and pearls from kaiser on different flower head
Well a fine sunny day here and I have a couple more card challenges to show up maybe tomorrow I will post them up
Oh to all my friends over the pond setting off tomorrow to the Summer CHA firstly stay safe! secondly take your laptop`s and get some sneek previews up and lastly return safe soon loaded with new stuff!!..

Oh it a very nice sunny Day and I like a wander around the garden,look at the work of art below its a marigold, I find we are so blessed when looking at how unique this detailing is the flower. Shame I have lots of chores on the agenda to attend to ugh! Managed to sit playing and made a few cards last night. Played with the New Prima Voila art die cut strips and DID have lots of fun,and flocked with black wow not sure If I like the feel of this stuff but went ahead with my idea [will show you later]

oh and I will be in the strawberry`s later fancy some for tea,so nice just getting out and picking my own

Wow its the 7Th of July and you know what this means its time to uncover the challenge laid on the table from Vicki Chrisman,make sure you hop over to Vicki`s and see what the others have created

I just love this sort of challenge and can honestly say I had an idea in my head and the mojo just totally erupted on this challenge I have used so many techniques in the making of this WALL HANGING I had the envelope with my pieces and then could only play with plain card stocks

we could use ink,stamps other mediums etc I really love playing this and had so much fun

Right we better get listing then I started using World win card stock DS - color Raspberry and then I cut it to 10 x12 Now the glimmer mist stencils out ,glimmer mist- tattered Rose and bubble gum pink armed ready and sprayed a fine misting,then thought it needed a bit of a pattern the good old bleach came out and I drizzles and dragged and pushed my paintbrush[fine] around the get movement I craved.

Now going onto my image from crafty secret heart warming vintage image from the new journal booklet http://www.craftysecrets.com/

a "um "and a "R,"right I though booklet ran through my head so out came a neutral card stock cut into 4 x 4 and made 4 pieces and then folded in middle ,damped it all down with my sprayer ,screwed it ,bashed it,twisted it and started curling and ripping corners and edges to get what I wanted,now a quick splat of modge podge to hold edges whilst it all dried out Once dry I then gave it a coating of tattered rose and Coffee shop Glimmer mist then when dried I then gave it all 2 good coats of modge podge gloss and left to dry,mounted the Craft secrets image in the middle and the pieces of text from the journal piece , happy so far,needs a mount so I went for Bazzill card stock cut to shape and machine stitched in red leaves around the shape. The pattern paper from my pack I cut into triangle`s and mounted on double sided pads to the top of the page giving it a banner look,corrugated a piece through my ribber and placed this to the bottom. Now the heart from my pack I inked green embossed with some UTE[ultra thick embossing powder] Not totally happy decided I would use my glue pad and add some cerise pearl-ex on to it more UTE and I think finally 3 coats later I was happy with the result,3 buttons now
I wanted some thread so in my pack I had a green ribbon and upon playing noticed the black thread would pull so I carefully pulled 2 lengths out of it and thread through the buttons.My flowers red and white had to be changed [white one] inked and embossed green and anchored with the little heart grommet in the pack,voila this is the end result ,please make sure you go check the other participants out at Vicki`s blog oh and get a glimpse of the new Tattered angels stuff over here to[not for the faint hearted lol!!]its sure to melt your plastic when its released thats for sure!!!!!!! and don`t blame me!!!!

Well A bright layout for a bright sunny day this was a challenge using the words "lazy days of summer @ Ktcraft recent cyber crop, This was cherry arte paper extracted from the 12" x12" sheet and this is the 1st time I have used a photo twice of my DS,this bucket had water in for wash
ing my windows but I went indoors to get my blade what do you call it and some how he had managed to get totally in this how I dont know but it took some getting him out lol!!crazy child of mine....

My cardinal red climatis in full bloom and so rich and dark in colour
I love my climatis along with my roses

and here is my blonde bombshell just look at the muck around her chops she has only been in my strawberries pinching them,they dont call them retrievers for nothing,but did not know she would retrieve my strawberries little minx,well big actually...

oh I got a e-mail today saying a layout I had submitted is going to be published firt time I have actually submitted and so happy right now

Well I have been blog slacking Iam pretty sure of it lol!!
I will get back in the swing of things shortly,I`am just finishing up
on the challenge from Vicki Christman so Iam pretty in front and
just needs some finishing touches,silly me really should have taken
a shot of the envelope from nebraska and so pleased no snakes or wasps
got sealed in that envelope !! it would totally have freaked me out lol!!

Today I must crack on with the never ending chores to finish and this stairs and landing need finishing just not managed to climb any ladders for last few days,phone ringing appointments been altered and changed then cancelled when you have been sat waiting annoying becuase uh it time out of my life with other things I could have done.
I have felt pretty crook last few days headache ,sore throat,might be the paint or just this good old english weather,no two days ever been the same,sat here now peering out the window looks like raining heading this way or a storm

The first card is a birthday card for my Niece and 2BW1 stone again,this is using Hanglar& stanglar stamp and colouring with crayons I enjoyed doing it
The second is from the Cyber crop from last week Vicki`s challenge,you know them magnets we pick up from places to stick on your fridge ,then we purge and throw them away,well the challenge was to alter one,this was fun and Vicki always comes up with some get ideas
I used the crafty secrets pad and the Granny image was from the new Craft secrets journalling booklet,but blow the journalling could not help but use this image reminds me so much of my childhood and days spent baking and icing and eating that horrible mix from the spoon[liked it at the time!] Just think though with all the eggs raw in that mix and we spooned it into our little mouths oh.......... mind you we never hailed much

Just a quick note to tell you Iam fine and just been a little busy over last few days,you see I finished the kitchen and decided I would move on to decorate the hall,stairs and landing[sucker for punishment] and in the middle of coats drying went on over to the cyber crop @ Kt crafts and had some fun,surprised myself with how many challenges I have done and a couple to finish up,lots of fun.............

Men Cards

The men Cards made over last day one is from my DS for his grandad that is the decoupage with the grandad sat in the chair. My birthday Card for my father is the shirt one,I was so un sure about the colour of this I used chatterbox papers and the lid was some plastic I had saved knowing one day it would come in from something I bought!! The ace of hearts card is ,the father`s day card ,this was some HOTP papers I had begging to be used up and the Cards I printed on some cardstock leather finish using the Prima Rue88 digital paper and I inked the edges and layered up on double sided tabs to give it a bit of depth....... So some card idea to share...........
Another miserable Day plenty of rain so humid,But I have plenty to do in the chore field,but wanting to re arrange some scrap stuff along the way and also wanting to play..........

Well horrible weather today,damp,overcast,but Iam not to bothered it has given
me a chance to get ahead for once in my life to make the cards I need for This
coming month,Father`s birthday card ,then it father`s Day, Nieces and things
like that. Iam doing the men cards first,seeing I did I sketch and it totally
threw me from the ideas for the girlie cards in my head,And I had these mens ideas
running around in my head,I have done two,but on the father`s Day now and wondering
matt and Layer,make it a pop up,picking paper up putting it down,getting another coffee and having a re take and now I have just logged on to answer my mail

This is a layout I did awhile ago ,but still love it so much it is a photo of me in my younger days and wanting to work the era this fancy pants paper worked so well with the prima whisper flowers and matched that groovy dress I had ROFL!! I then wanted to recall a few things from my childhood ,but had to cut it a little short I mean what an era this was,I then put my wording onto acetate and then embossed it in black to create an overlay whilst not detracting from the beautiful paper, I was pleased with the result, TIP #if working with acetate get a dry used tumble dryer sheet and rub all over acetate first this stuff has amazing static properties and I find if you do this first before print then you do not have much embossing powder stick,the little bit which does just remove with a fine brush before turning that heatgun on,it also works great if using glossy cardstock also

Here is the finished birdhouse I promised,weather has not been nice for taking photos
but I think these might be best shots for today
The Papers [well a good cardstock] I have used is from CRAFT SECRETS PASTEL PAD
I cut all the papers for the octagon butt shingles by hand then stuck and sanded every piece[might do a RAK on how many I used later!!] The white doves are from HL
and the pink butterly also, The lace is from my stash of many. I made a plaque and hung it above with the little wording,I used one of the buttons I had in my stash again it looks like a hanger so was perfect for the job
I had a fantastic time working this,but with papers like this from Crafty Secrets who could not. I also sprayed it all with bubblegum pink Glimmer mist before starting
so the pink you see is not paint its glimmer mist
I hope you enjoy looking at it ,I think I will have to keep this for myself oh the paper so yummy and not often I get to play with pink!!!!!

Iam on playing with something now a card,Just could not get to sleep so I came down grabbed a handful of Bazzill,ruler,sissors and glue and went back to bed and started
what was in my head,got most assembled now to finish it off,need to think though!!
on where Iam going next with it lol!!!

OH I got my craft Secrets booklet in the mail today and oh I honestly cannot stop pawing and purring they are just devine, took alot of finding but I did find a place in california who shipped to the uk,
I also had another package in the mail lots of chipboard and journalling tags
from a swop we did at KT crafts and that has me purring also
I need to do some layouts and get my butt in gear,but I have been altering so much I just cannot stop doing it I find myself looking around when Iam out thinking oh that would look good altered know what I mean

Glimmer Mist

I love this medium Glimmer Mist by tattered angels I have about 10 bottles and need to add to the collection,This is a door plaque I did,close up shot gives you a sneak peek of spraying the wood , I gave it a rough coat of pink acylic and then when it had dryed 2 coats of glimmer mist, one bubblegum pink and one of snowflake it was a great finish and the images and tags are all Crafty secrets
I am also working on a birdhouse and yes you guessed correctly it has been sprayed with glimmer mist and Iam finishing it up now
The possiblities with this mist is endless I even tried it on one of my nails and a clear topcoat niceeeeeee. Stencils you already have anything goes with this stuff,been water based,When I work with it I always keep a few tags or pieces of paper handy and any surplus yes it gets thrown on the paper Iam working on,no point wasting it. IT does go a long way though......... Tattered angels have some yummy stencils out and the chipboard oh just so devine again the chip can be worked with the mist and inked etc,it raised embossed
WEll men dont you just love em, My other half[might be ex soon] borrows my car,parks car at home and from car to the house has lost my keys ,well search turned the place upside down NO KEYS,so he needed to be in the car for something his pigeon racing clocks,so he only goes and smashes my window grggggggh and today still no keys found
how does something vanish into thin air. Now This is going to cost me lots my car key is chipped with computer code,my bonnet is a totally different key and then I will have to have them trace my chip number,then new window grgggggggg dont you just love men!

last waltz

Well I have been asked about the music on my blog by quite a few people
The last Waltz is such a special song for me,Because it so reminds me
of mam and dad`s Silver wedding bash. This was a surpise and I arranged every little detail for this back in the good old 80`S it took me over a year.
I even phoned Dads place of work to book him the next day of and had to explain why
[I knew he was booked in to work,so I had to secretly unbook it] They were waiting for me picking them up I phoned to say I will be there shortly,and I had to leave my home and get set off quickly .I remember arriving at the venue to a room full of 100 people friends and family alot travelling over 100 miles and everything went so quiet
What mum & Dad did not know was the meal they thought they were going on with us was not to be he! he! I had booked a Rolls Royce to collect them from the house,they promptley saying to the driver he was at the wrong place lol!! He then said well your Mr & Mrs **** so off they set for a tour around[arranged just in case anyone was running late] then they arrived at the venue to meet me and my 2 sister,again another white lie [they just thought they was stopping for some photos before travelling on to the meal,and I said "oh do you think we can have a photo taken in here and the photographer playing along to the game said yes that fine,Well all was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop,all was dark then when Dad opened the door with mum lights went on to a massive uproar and cheer from everyone,Well they nearly died with the shock and I just so remember that song and these two people I love so dearly dancing to it all on there own not a care in the world and the big smiles they both had all night. Then next day Dad trying to fit all the puzzle together like Oh I wondered why so and so said see you tonight and things like that
This picture is me and the 2 sisters with mum & dad its colour but I changed it to Black & White
They literally did have the last waltz together,until mum went through them pearly gates ,danny boy is another story ..............

Well what blooomin wonderful weather we are experiencing for May
looks like a good crop of blueberries might be had this year,love them
and my solitary Tulip a beautiful dark purple the rest are just coming through
now and my grape vine I noticed has just started budding,it was a total waste last year due to the weather and the vine is an outdoor,all year round one Iam trying

Well nothing much going on,done a few cards and odd projects need finishing
but I did not sleep to good and now sat thinking coffee or shall I finish something
up I have on the go

This is my tribute layout for Kristy put together by memebers at KT CRAFTS we had to lift one of Kristy`s layout and making our own mark ,Vicki organized the whole thing and it was all put into a album and posted to kristy who has been dedicated from day one of the forum,sad to see her resign from the DST but I know she is staying and is now " a normal member with extra duties". Bless her she works so hard behind the scene`s and has a busy home with the boys and business life something just had to go. I truly believe kristy has made the right choice love you kristy.......

Well again just look at the presentation in old dress making pattern,umh i will be using this for sure,these are just some Dresdens I ordered from Ruby street designs
I sya just,they are beautiful and might be ordering some extra I love them so much and I know they are nearing limited
Well my dresser arrived the other day a new little place to scrap and been purging the stash but keep finding pieces I had forgotten about or things I lost and bought replacements for like tools, IAm always putting them down and losing them ,does not help having a little one ,it because of my DS I lose them having to put them aways out of his way,can never leave anything laying around like I used to

Well I promised you all a look at my stash I rec from Kris at ruby street designs
but I ended up doing another order !!!!!!!
well presentation wow what can I say!!!! the epherma all real dates back to early 1800 and so interesting just reading what is what alone especially price of coffee and veg. And who owed what to who!! well the buttons and lace pieces remarkable I just keep having to have a touchy feely moment with these I can tell you!

Well I have had a really bad Day at the helm,called the crazy british schooling system. But in the heat of everything I totally forgot I had recieved a package
today form Australia
oh my word I opened it and it was the things I ordered from Kris at Ruby street Designs, Iam totally bowled over with the items and talk about presentation well
that is just awesome Iam keeping my post short and sweet I have a rather bad headache
but I can tell you now Iam going to be taking a picture of the items to post on here

Well Iam a total vintage freak,do not know why it just does something to me!
maybe I have had a past life I dont know really,but I have found a few pieces
Iam needing for when I find the cabinet I want[now that is proving hard] because
I want to totally strip it and paint it,found a couple but Iam so in love with them
and they are beautiful pieces in their own right it would be a shame to alter them
so Iam sitting tight for now. The other half just sees £££££ rolling round in front of him, but I ALWAYS WIN
Well I really have had no time to scrap or do anything else really. Was hoping to pay a visit to a country Lavendar on the wolds [ww.woldswaylavendar.co.uk ,[but that might have to wait with DS still ill] it is a 7 acre site with over 120 varieties of lavendar and herbs. I love real lavendar not the synthetic stuff and here they distill on site. Iam really wanting to try the lavendar scones umgh argh......

well a few of my finds........ Iam also awaiting the arrival of a silver hand mirror I have just bought from 1930circ
Never know next time I might be feeling like sending a RAK anywhere in the world

Well today has been quite a nice Day ,I had a walk in the garden and whilst my
daffodils are dying down,my tulips have grown so quick, and one has flowered
beautiful,must remember to take a picture of it tomorrow,I forgot now the name
it was Black something!!!!!!!
I have been sat watching my blackie[blackbird] and his hen busy building the nest
a total work of art it has taken them 2 days,but Iam amazed at blackie choice of lodgings and this has put paid to some of my DIY projects,down the side of my conservatory
the glass blew out during the storms and it never got put back in right ,well I chocked it with a piece of wood about 24 x 18" against the glass and fence,well the
nest has been built on here right under the ivy at a wierd angle,We have to pass everytime we go out. But blackie is not bothered at all by us. Might see if I can manage a picture of the nest from a pair of ladders,but dont want to disturb them
at all
I love this time of year when you see all the birds collecting the pieces for their nests and the amount they carry in the bill
I know why blackie is here,becuase he comes in and pinches the dogs dinner,loves the dog biscuits and it is funny watching him,also he knows were the pigen corn is stored
so ,he not daft at all
This is a picture of my big finished clothspin in all Foof-a-la papers red black cream collection,just adore these paper, the little birdie well is re cycled it is from Vicki Christman and just had to use it,I do have this set of stamps from Crafty secrets and love working with them,umgh I have also used it on a layout but that cannot be shown for now.................
My little man is still un well,but two days now everything is "Why" oh its funny trying the end the whys because when you think you have done it all of a sudden another "but why" comes .......................

Oh came across a fab vintage place Called Ruby street Designs you will find a link on my favourite places to the right
Well needless to say I ended up ordering some wonderful items,The store owner Kris
ships international,very friendly helpful lady,nothing is to much trouble, and new designs are been added next month[april] from some fab designers.
Iam so happy I found this place and if you get chance you vintage lovers hop on over and pay Kris a visit you will not be disappointed in the treasures to be found here!!
Today started out sunny,but well the good old British weather ended in rain,now thats a surpise!!! Just hope we do not get the summer that last year just rained and rained and rained on us. Iam looking forward to getting in the garden but a little weary on planting because last year most of it was wrecked with all the water that landed. I have photos from one day plant pots were just passing by the conservatory and floating by

Iam nearly done with all the re-installing of my programmes,so with a bit of luck might get a sketch or something uploaded soon................

Well I`am getting things done on the lappy ,lots still to install and had to do Invoice design again for others halfs business, that was wonderful having to re do this then do all the paperwork for the month end .
It has been a sunny day ,alittle on the crisp side though,But Iam shattered I think I managed about 1 hours sleep last night I just could not switch off for some reason
DS went back to school today,so a little respite for me but today none to busy sorting things out and doing post office run with packages
Oh well I will blog later in the week and go do something like re load another programme.......................

Oh what a few days can do with no connection to the internet.We live in a crazy
world and when my laptop died on me suddenly[poor thing] I was left in a state of
feeling sucidal,I mean no connection to my favourite daily visits,no contact with friends and not been able to access my mail.
I have techy issues with my Tower and Iam still in the throws of sortin it and I really must keep plugin away to resolve the issues.
But what a carry on just trying to get a laptop with the spec I wanted and visits to stores,well I just dont want to talk about it. Finally with my new baby home I have connected to my wireless router,set my security,broke my neck to visit my daily sites.
Now I have to re install alot of programmes and my wireless printer and I think Iam going to make a list of what I have to do[honest you do not realise just what you have on your computer when something fatal happens] thank the good lord my hard drive is okay on the sorta dead one so I will be able to get info onto a stick to find some data I had not backed up. Then need to work this vista Os out,been using os xp for so long!!!!!!!!
oh well Iam goin to dash see what else I can get installed before I retire for the night

Well Sketch No 3 is here just plain card with a simple twist
I`am having fun,one more week and its back to school for my little Guy
The weather has not been nice today and I really have created nothing
in a few days,But did get lots of new stash from over the pond,some awesome
Acrylic stamps from Crafty secrets!! oh I have played with these already
and they have been used on a project, but I cannot show it yet,but I will
later Iam very impressed with the image quality of these stamps and
the small detail even shows so well

I have lots running in my head I want to do and will get started soon
The online crop at KT Crafts was fun as always and I got quite a bit done
in one day!!!!!!! I will show some of the challeneges I completed later

Well here is my Card that I made for the challenge thrown by Vicki Chrisman,yes real daffodils froom the garden you can see the other girls cards over at Vicki`s blog http://vickichrisman.blogspot.com/ There is some wonderful varitions

on the cards.

I was so excited when I got mine in the mail to see what I had! Tell you I was not disappointed.My card I wanted a clean,crisp finish to it,but I have forgotten to tell you we could only use the things in the envelope and Could NOT add anything else,we could add ink,glitter etc

I used the Vintage papers and image from crafty Secret heartwarming

I just loved this image with the 2 rabbits and the little fellow with his rosy cheeks I just had to set this on a jaunty angle to make it look like they were about to pop off the card and I just inked the edges of the images and the matting piece behind. I added a little piece of Red ribbon fixed by a red Brad to make it look like a tag. and two clear button down the side of mat

I just inked around the card edges,not wanting to detract from this wonderful image in any way

Then I just had to put the beautiful lace on and I think the hardest part was trying to tie a bow with less 3" of lace left[well just just have to have a bow at Easter.

special!? Us well nothing fantastic, just the big Lunch and Eggs after for my son. Reminds me when I was little we used to boil them and then paint them and once dry we used to go roll them down a hill at my grandfathers home in the Country ohh it takes me back,living in a Town
when school was out I was on the Bus or the fastest method of transport

to my granfather house in the Country I still go through to see my Aunt and just love the place,it was always trouble for my mother & father trying to get me back home,I would miss the bus on purpose and would do anything to be late back. Mind you I remember one year my tricks did not pay of I had to catch a bus,now trying to get these in the country aint no fun I had a total of 4 buses on and off changing on route just to get back to town and ohh what an earful I got when I got home. I would do it all again today though................

How did I know that when I wrote what a day,should have read ugh what a week!!!!!!!! Today Iam not touching anything or writing anything in htmll .cut!!!!
Well I noticed when in the kitchen doing the dinners[as you do] The cereal box says "win a day to be zookeeper for a day!"Now forgive me if Iam wrong but why would I want to win this! I already manage a Zoo!!
I shop they eat it! I hide it they find it! I wash they make more mess!
Just when you think the dishwasher has caught up I blink really Iam I seeing things umgh oh no Iam not there is another loads, So why oh why would I want to win this when Iam fully qualified in running one anyway!
Maybe I should advertise "wanna be zookeeper for a day!! do you think I would get many takers!!???? Iam off yes to clear more mess and maybe I need to teach them some new tricks!

Well I seem to have had a rotten day everything I have touched
seems to go wrong, Mind you darling Son is no help ,been off school
with eye infection and he just seems to be really just pushing it a bit to much with me. He has broken a pyrex dish today[how do you manage that] sprayed his dads shaving foam all over my bathroom mirrors doors warts an all,put washing up liquid in dogs dinner,emptied my shredding machine bin all over the floor[why did a buy a cross cut one argh!!]
Well between him and working on something in HTML I really dont know,if to chill or kill!!!!!!!! scap some or think some!!!!!!!!!
I NEED coffee so bad right now starbucks and so strong!!!!!!!!!!!

Wet Day

Well it been a very wet day,but I dont mind one bit has I have not been out

Been far to busy with the chores,and laundry. The pictures above are the Birthday Card I made for Vicki a dear friend @ KT Crafts,I never get over the beautiful work Vicki churns out and I have never seen a piece I have not loved so her card had to be Special The Card is pink & black Cardstock

feathers I twisted with flowers and then attached the seed pearls to front
and made a little insole using my paint programme for the message but then I thought oh I will add an heel which I did and put pearls around bottom. The Shoe Box I made from plain white Cardstock and sprayed with Glimmer Mist and this gave a nice look, The box is just a freehand job

Its hard explaining how I make them but in general I take 3mm off each side to allow for top and Bottom and roughly make a little indent for the size off my object to be boxed and score all round leaving a little space for the item and the same for the bottom and normally get a good tight fit

Well Iam feeling pretty jaded my little terror has been baking today[I promised] so cupcakes and double choco cookies were made and I had all the mess to clean up. Now I know how my mother felt all them years ago out of 3 sisters I was the only one to love cooking and baking and when I got older my mother just let me do it all in the end,she said there was no point competing with me

Oh Iam so pleased it is Friday. My creative mood is back and things
are now whirling around in my head. OH I got new toy today from over the Pond It is the BIG BITE eyelet setter ,I just had to have it with it long
reach I will be able to get in the middle of 12" layout ,its Baby is the cropadile which I love dearly and so easy to use,on tin and amazing on Cds I first used it on a CD and thought oh blimey this is going to crack it ,but no,I was amazed at how easy it was..... So now I need to get my new toy cracked open and play.........

anyone for muffins!!?? My favourite blog of all time has got to be Vicki christman`s http://vickichrisman.blogspot.com/ I just love the work she does and Vicki never fails to inspire me I totally drool over her site and now,Iam drooling over the cranberry muffins!!

and we seem to have the same taste in everything,This Lady costs me money!! Iam always rummaging in stores for bits and bobs. Like the Antique Lace I used on my Cigar Box from my fav habbi store It was hiding right at the back and the owner said oh thats old I will never get anything like that again ever made!! So I said oh I will have 4 metres and whilst he was measuring it out I thought umh "tell you what Tony measure rest of it " I ended up with 10 metres of it but I know it will always come in....

Back to Vicki now not content with inspiring me ,She is now trying to add
Pounds to my waistline her oh so yummy muffin picture on her site
and a lovely recipe on Vicki`s blog Iam so going to try!!!..........

Well sketch No 2 is here,nothing flash pretty simple really . I have been
drawing away,but with techy issues getting in the way I just have not had time to neaten the rough bits. talking of techy My host has changed servers,now one of my reg company`s has changed servers and if changing all the ISP `s wasnt enough Iam now having broadband trouble
I was only saying to Jorunn I have only had it once umh think I might have spoken to soon
Well Glee a dear friend at KTC has had her eye surgery today I pray & hope all has gone well for Glee and hope to see when recovered Glee doing some wonderful work again,mind you if her ops are okay I just dread to think what this wonderful hugable lady will pump out,her work is awesome now Go on over leave Glee some love,let her know we are thinking and praying for her
